Montreal, a UNESCO Creative City of Design, has launched an international and multidisciplinary urban design competition for the redevelopment of the McGill College Avenue.

Montreal wishes to transform this iconic avenue, which spans an area of 16,000 square meters, into a sustainable, ecological and citizen-centered space. Located in the heart of the vibrant area of downtown Montréal, McGill College Avenue will be pedestrianized and converted into a square, connecting the two Montréal cultural landmarks of Mount Royal and Place Ville Marie.

Montreal invites you to submit innovative proposals to transform McGill College avenue into a creative and inclusive public space before 19 December 2019, Noon (EST).
