Designregio Kortrijk is the platform for creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship for the region Kortrijk.
We organize projects that encourage creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship, inspire with good practices and connect companies, designers, education and public space.
Since the start in 2005, we are an active and intensive partnership of the Biennale Interieur, Stad Kortrijk, Howest, Intercommunal Leiedal and Voka West Flanders. Together we position the region Kortrijk as a region that uses design to leverage its development and thereby increases its image as a creative and innovative region nationally and internationally.
Designregio kortrijk is a platform for results of inspired entrepreneurship. For strong work of designers. For excellent education. For an inviting public space and inspiring initiatives. A platform for people from people. For doers with passion. Passion for creativity, entrepreneurship and innovation.
Thanks to its longstanding tradition in these fields, the Kortrijk region became in 2017 part of a worldwide network of 180 cities that use creativity as a leverage for sustainable development: the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.
